Inn At Mavericks is surrounded to the north, east, and south by the Santa Cruz Mountains. The mountains form a ridge down the San Francisco Peninsula all the way to the Salinas Valley. Close to the Santa Cruz Mountains’ northern tip, the Montara Mountain rises 1,898 feet and is networked with hiking trails and magnificent beaches. Montara beach is about one mile long and is surrounded by stunning sculpted sandstone cliffs. Just north of Montara beach is Gray Whale Cove, named for the gray whales that can be spotted from here in the spring as they migrate northward. Our video clip (above) flies north over Gray Whale Cove and hopefully provides you with a glimpse of the coastal beauty that surrounds Inn At Mavericks.
