Inn at Mavericks Dog Policy

Inn at Mavericks Dog Welcome Basket

Thank you for visiting the Inn at Mavericks with your dog. For the comfort and safety of all our guests and dogs we request that all pet owners agree to the following policy:

  • Dogs are only allowed in The Mavericks, Flat Rock and Jetty Suites. These three pet-friendly accommodations are conveniently located on the ground floor and have their own private fenced patio.

  • There is a $20.00 per dog / per night fee. If your dog is not declared prior to your arrival an additional $50.00 will be charged to your account. – maximum 2 dogs.

  • Do not leave your dog unattended at any time, in your room or outside on the patio.

  • Dogs are not to be washed in the bathroom tub/shower. You may use the hose outside to wash your dogs.

  • Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste properly and in a timely manner.

  • Even dogs that are normally quiet can get excited in an unfamiliar environment. Please quiet your dog as soon as possible. If barking complaints are received from other guests we may have to ask you to leave.

  • Please do not allow your dog on the bed or any of the furniture.

  • You are responsible for any property damage, additional cleaning costs, personal injury or noise disturbance caused by your dog. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Inn at Mavericks, its owners, and its operator for any claim, demand, or judgment associated in any way with damages attributable to your dog. The Inn at Mavericks reserves the right to charge your credit card commensurate with the estimated cost of damages or deep cleaning needed.

  • We respectfully request that dogs be declared prior to the day of arrival.

  • Violation of dog policy will result in additional charges.

  • Dogs are strictly prohibited from the upstairs rooms (Montara, Ross Cove, Dunes). A violation of this policy will result in a minimum fee of $200 and additional fees may be charged to clean, repair, or replace items and furniture.
