The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is only a 5 minute walk from the Inn at Mavericks and the restaurant has delicious food and a full bar. The brewery also has live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Its not surprising to see the bar full of people dancing and enjoying their weekend at this local restaurant. The menu at Half Moon bay Brewing Co is huge and portions are very generous. The food is creative California cuisine with an emphasis on fresh local seafood. The Brewery also offers a separate gluten-free menu and kids menu. Half Moon Bay Brewing Co, is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Mezza Luna Italian Restaurant
Mezza Luna Italian Restaurant is a 3 minute walk from the Inn at Mavericks and serves delicious Southern Italian Cuisine. Mezza Luna is open for dinner and lunch 7 days a week and takes pride in serving only the highest quality of meat, fish, produce and pasta. Mezza Luna offers an extensive wine list as well as a full service bar. If your looking for mouth-watering Italian food and great wine Mezza Luna is an excellent choice.
Barbara’s Fishtrap
Barbara’s has been in business since 1971 and still continues to deliver fresh seafood and superb pastas and sandwiches to the Half Moon Bay community. Barbara’s Fishtrap is located at 281 Capistrano Rd., about a 6 minute walk from the Inn at Mavericks. I used to come to Barbara’s with my great aunt when I was a kid. I would always order the fish and chips and we would enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while looking out over the Bay. Barbara’s Fishtrap is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner from 11am to 8:30pm Sundays through Thursdays and 11am to 9:00pm Fridays and Saturdays. Don’t forget to bring your cash, as they do not take credit cards at this time. Barbara’s Fishtrap is a Half Moon Bay tradition and is a definite “must” if visiting Princeton-By-the-Sea.
